Wheeling Township offers bus service for Wheeling Township residents Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Call 847-259-7743 between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:30 pm to schedule transportation. Reservations should be made two days before the travel date.

Location: Heritage Park Performance Pavilion Join us for a day of food, beer, music and merriment at our annual Oktoberfest! Drink German and domestic beer, eat bratwurst, and enjoy live entertainment by Dan Mateja and the IPA (International Polka Association) Tribute Band and 7th Heaven.

THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY FEAST Location: Chevy Chase Country Club Registration Deadline: 11/14

The Wheeling Park District Board of Commissioners invite residents and their families to a free feast at Chevy Chase Country Club. The event features a traditional Thanksgiving-style meal, musical entertainment and arts and crafts. The event is free, but canned food and cash donations are accepted. Donations go to the Wheeling Food Pantry and the Wheeling Park District Financial Assistance Program.

Join us for a 5K run/walk celebrating the Day of the Dead. Run though picturesque Heritage Park and on the streets of Wheeling. Enjoy music and entertainment along the course. Bring the family for the post-race celebration with live music and food! All runners that pre-register will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
