GIRLS OF THE 1950’S Wednesday, May 11 They were the “Girls of the ‘50s” and some of our favorite female vocalists. That was the decade for women like Doris Day, Dinah Shore, Patti Page, Judy Garland and Debbie Reynolds. Heather Braoudakis takes us back in time as she sings their hits and shares their stories.

MUSICAL MEMORIES: THE POWER OF A SONG Friday, May 20 Guitarist Steve Justman performs a variety of “Hit Parade” classics, early rock and roll, beautiful love songs, classic country and vintage folk music. Don’t miss this audience favorite!

Who could forget notable legends like NBA star Michael Jordan and the Bears Walter Payton? Join historian Tim Wilsey for an interesting look inside our hometown’s legends.

THE MUSIC AND INFLUENCE OF WILLIE NELSON Friday, June 10 Willie Hugh Nelson was an American singer, songwriter, musician actor, producer, poet and activist. Join Steve Justman as he discusses the influence Willie Nelson had on our music and culture.

PICKLEBALL BUNNY HOP PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT

Location: Chamber Park Courts Registration Deadline: 4/10 Sign up with a teammate and join us for an afternoon at Chamber Park courts in Wheeling for an unsanctioned, just for fun, Pickleball Tournament. Teams play a round-robin format followed by an elimination bracket. Winners receive prizes; water and light snacks are provided. This tournament is for players 50 and older with a 2.0-3.5 rating or beginner and intermediate players. Players are encouraged to bring a chair and plenty of water. Sign up as a team. AGE
