Come down to Rosine’s Restaurant(located on Alvarado Street in Downtown Monterey) for their new fall cocktail list The list is curated and designed by the family’s own John Culcasi John has an exceptional eye and interest in the mixology world for craft cocktails The new menu consists of but is not limited to, the “Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini”, the “Apple Pie Old Fashioned”, as well as a special cocktail dedicated to the beloved Rosine herself called the “La Rosina” Rosine was a huge fan of cosmopolitans so the family decided to add a variation of it to the menu with a new twist
Poodle Day in Carmel CARMEL
Poodle day is an annual event in Carmel, that unites poodle owners and lovers - and their furry companions for a fun filled day that includes parade for poodles, poodle mixes, and their human companions, off-leash beach play, as well as evening events that include cocktail parties and dinners
Proceeds from Poodle Day benefit NorCal Poodle Rescue, a haven for poodles and poodle mixes in need in Northern California and Southern Oregon since 1985

Hops & Fog Now in PG
New Pacific Grove “nonbrewery” Hops & Fog pours their first in-house brew
Hops & Fog, located at 511 Lighthouse Ave opened in August, with a simple selection of beers and wines paired with a kitchen serving up pizzas and light pub fare. As of September 18th, they have officially started pouring their own brews- the first being a light West Coast IPA, appropriately called “First Batch”!

Jeju Kitchen | Carmel
This past week, my mother and grandmother came into town for a visit Whenever family is around, we love showcasing the local culinary scene, and this time we took them to “Jeju Kitchen,” a newly opened Korean restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea that’s been generating quite the buzz As the only Korean restaurant in Carmel, it has stirred up plenty of curiosity, so we made a reservation for 6:00 p m on Friday the 20th to see what all the excitement was about
Jeju Kitchen is located on the lower level of Carmel Plaza’s east side, offering both indoor seating and an outdoor patio with heaters, ideal for enjoying the fresh air even when it gets chilly
We started off with their margaritas, which are uniquely made with rice wine a refreshing twist that hit all the right notes For my main course, I chose the “Creamy Miso Cacio e Pepe,” and I was thoroughly impressed The rich, velvety cream sauce blended with the pasta in a way that created a comforting yet sophisticated dish, making it a delightful choice that exceeded my expectations
