PEBBLE BEACH GOLF COURSE
One of Monterey's most anticipated new openings is Isabella, a boutique motel and restaurant developed by the Shake family, longtime owners of the iconic Fish Hopper restaurant. Located on North Fremont Street near the Monterey County Fairgrounds, the project transforms the former Casa Verde Inn and Caruso's Corner site into a refreshed hospitality destination. The development features approximately 20 boutique guest rooms along with a new restaurant concept designed to serve both visitors and locals. Named after family matriarch Isabella Shake, the project reflects the family's deep roots in Monterey and commitment to the community. The opening represents a significant investment in the revitalization of the North Fremont corridor, an area that has seen growing redevelopment in recent years. Rather than a large-scale resort, Isabella embraces the growing trend toward intimate, design-focused lodging experiences. The project also brings new dining and hospitality options to a highly visible gateway into Monterey. Its opening is viewed as a positive sign of continued confidence in the Peninsula's tourism and hospitality market.

Wedding In Temecula
Yesterday Avery and I attended a beautiful wedding for her Cousin Jake and his beautiful bride, Amy. It was so magical. It was held at the Willson Creek Winery. Upon arrival, everyone was shuttled to the Merlot Mesa, where the ceremony was held right in the middle of the vineyards. It was absolutely breathtaking, and the ceremony was so beautiful. Afterwards, we made our way to the reception area with an open bar and the dance floor. The eating area was shaded by luscious green vines and beautiful pink flowers. It was really a fairytale experience!
