It Depends
What happens first?
And when does it end?
A drop, then ripple
A gift, Godsend.
While a tree sheds its coat
A heart bravely mends, and A soul softly whispers, “Well, it depends.”
The Weather
Which comes first, The weather, or me?
I’ve never met a day
That didn’t reflect my mood.

Dear Potential Sponsor,
The Atlin Arts and Music Festival Society is planning a Family Fun Fair this summer in Atlin. We are seeking sponsorship to make this event a reality. The Fair will be an important stepping stone towards realizing AAMF 2025.
Held the weekend of July 5th to 7th, 2024, at the Tarahne Park and other venues around town, the Family Fun Fair will be open to all, with a focus on families and children’s entertainment. It will feature performers like the Taku River Tlingit dancers, headliner Norman Foote, and Claire Ness (including her circus group). Musical performers will liven up the airways and buskers will be playing throughout town. There will be interactive entertainment with bouncy castles, sumo wrestling suits, human soccer balls and a variety of kids workshops.
Any amount of donation will help significantly. We are specifically seeking sponsorship to cover the operational costs of $10,000. You can donate in full, partially or an in-kind amount. Amounts of $250 or more will be reciprocated with sponsorship benefits (see table). The deadline for sponsorship donations is June 15th, 2024.
To confirm sponsorship or for further information, please contact Theresa Beaudoin by email at aamfboardofdirectors@gmail.com or by phone at 867-336-1964. Please email your logo for use on our website, programs, posters, and print Ads. You will receive a receipt for your charitable donation for tax purposes.
You can send your donation via e-transfer to vendors@gmail.com.
Or you can send a cheque to Atlin Arts and Music Festival: Box 168, Atlin, BC, V0W 1A0.
Thank you for bringing the Family Fun Fair to Atlin this year.
With sincerest gratitude, Thank you! Gunalchéesh!

The Healing
Each breath of air
The healing power of oxygen
Each sip of water
The rejuvenation of hydration
Each foot on the earth
The grounding in Creation
Each day of sunshine
The life force of the sun
Each night of darkness
The benefits of rest
Each moment of stillness
The appreciation of the present
Each simple stretch
The daily letting go
Each specific intention
The power of human thought
Each purposeful prayer
The gift of our Creator
Each kind word
The joy of connection
Each touch of the lover
The magic of human contact
Each wave on the shore
The sweet breath of God
The Theory
The theory is criticized so vehemently, So vehemently,
Not just because it is improbable
Not just because it is frightening
Not just because it is blasphemous…
…But because,
After much careful consideration
Stringent forensic analysis
Rigorous cross-referencing
And healthy deliberation…
It may, in fact, Be true.
The Builders
We are the builders of our world
We are the designers of our future
We can build walls, or we can drill water wells
We can build prisons, or we can sew pastures
We can dig gardens, or we can dig graves
We can grow food, or we can grow cities
We can foster communities,
Or we can grow our corporations
We can protect our land,
Or we can protect our earnings
We can remember our teachings,
Or we can forget our past

“Spring Rain & Warm Sunshine”
Spring rain will find a home
With a welcome mat out front When clouds release their bounty And send refreshment our way. Rain will usher in renewal And spur us to jump for joy.
Although, if truth be told, We hope it’s not too often, As delicious warm sunshine Will draw out a heartfelt song, Put a bounce in ev’ry step, And stir us to feel tickled pink.
Many of us on Mother Earth
Have the good fortune to live Where sunshine is sufficient And Spring rain is adequate. So, let’s tip toe through the tulips And whistle a happy tune…
To celebrate.
