RUCHI’S THAILAND MUST SEE TRAVEL TIPS...

Ruchi from World Odyssey Travel loved her adventures in Thailand and she recommends Phuket and Bangkok be included on your Travel Bucket List. Here are some of Ruchi’s Thailand Must See Travel Tips...
“Phuket is one of the biggest and most popular destinations in Thailand. With its white sand beaches and many beautiful islands to explore, Phuket was one of the most memorable experiences I had while in Thailand. We stayed at a hotel with private access to Karon Beach, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where you will find world class spas and massage centres. Some of the massage therapists at Karon Beach use royal Thai honey, black sesame and even chocolate during their treatments - definitely one of my ‘must do’ activities in Phuket. Our hotel also featured rooms with their own private plunge pool - what a luxury!
We were able to walk freely to take photos and admire the carvings and paintings at Karon Temple, which is open to visitors any day of the week. The temple also hosts a famous market with lots of delicious food to enjoy.
Phuket street food is fun, cheap, and a great way to experience real Thai food. Pad Thai is my favourite food, with its rice noodles which are stir fried with eggs, tofu, fish sauce, shrimp, garlic, shallots, and red chilli pepper and served with lime, peanuts and bean sprouts. There is so much food to explore in Phuket including many high end, fine dining restaurants.
North of Phuket, is the Thai capital Bangkok, one of the nicest cities in the world and full of action! Bangkok is a place where you can wander, eat and imbibe while enjoying beautiful temples, touts and many other wonderful attractions. You can find experiences that are inexpensive or on the pricey side and the variety of unique and exciting attractions made me fall in love with the city. Bangkok is also a great place for shopping for everything from high end to cheap souvenirs and collectables.
If you enjoy some hustle and bustle, the best place to stay in Bangkok is Sukhumvit Road where there is a happening nightlife scene and lots of delicious street food. We also enjoyed our visit to a floating market, Bangkok’s Chinatown and the National Museum.
Overall, our adventures in Thailand were wonderful and we had a great experience. I definitely recommend a visit to Thailand and would be happy to help you plan a bucket list vacation just for you!”
