WELCOME OCTOBER 2021

Welcome to the Cairngorms National Park and our special October edition of What’s On, the free events guide October is a special month because it marks the turning of the season and the breathtaking autumnal colours dominate our landscapes; the perfect backdrop for getting out in the fresh air (for cycling inspiration, see our feature on pages 10-11). This month is, of course, also a ghostly one and we’re delighted that Landmark’s Spookfest and Foam Weekend is back and will definitely keep kids entertained over the October break! There are plenty of other events to capture your imagination too, from live music at various venues, farmers markets all over the Park and running events including 10K (Glenlivet) and half marathon (Aviemore). Check our listings for full details.

For inspiration on all things activities, remember to check out our blog on www.visitcairngorms.com. Whatever your age or stage, whether you’re with family or friends or whether you’re here to find your zen, or find your adventure, there is something for everyone in the Cairngorms.
