elcome to the Cairngorms National Park and the March edition of What’s On, the free events guide.

To help you make the most of your time here we’ve put together an essential guide packed with what’s happening in the area.

We’ve got some great ideas for things to do, places to see, where to eat and drink, and places to stay.

Spring is just around the corner and it’s time to get out and enjoy the fresh air!

The Braemar Mountain Festival returns for another weekend of inspiring events from the 1st-4th with talks and workshops throughout Braemar. Upbattle’s Splitboarding event also returns from the 17th-18th at Cairngorm Mountain and a new Wild Ski festival launches at Glenmore Lodge from the 16th-18th. Many local attractions reopen their doors for the summer season including Blair Castle, Landmark Forest Adventure Park, The Highland Folk Museum and Balmoral Castle.

Finally, don’t forget to take the kiddies to one of the many Easter events happening at Mar Lodge, Loch an Eilein, Kincraig and Blair Castle.

The Cairngorms National Park has something for everyone.
