We design and manufacture all our furniture in our Dewsbury workshop – maintaining quality and the highest standards from start to finish.

That means I know the secret to the perfect chair is finding that elusive balance between support and softness. There are certain things you learn with experience that achieve this, say for example, only using premium foams, such as ‘Super Bultex’ for cushioning.

There really are no short cuts, just skilled craftsmanship and lots of pain-staking hard work.

That, plus attention to detail, like making sure you ‘over-wrap’ extra layers in areas of high contact, like the chair arms.”

Beech is favoured by furniture manufacturers because its highly dense grain gives it exceptional strength and stability and guards against twisting or warping.

Its even grain also means there are fewer blemishes, giving a more attractive natural finish.

(Of course, we also offer a choice of wood stain finishes or will colour-match a stain finish to your specification.)
