Course Manager and Lecturer, Collections and Conservation
As an aquarist and marine enthusiast, my passion for the industry has led to many exciting roles such as keeper of aquatic reptiles, aquarist and turtle rehabilitation officer. I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the world’s largest sharks as well as endangered marine organisms. During my time spent managing aquariums, it became apparent that a career in teaching and training of new generations of zookeepers and aquarists was the next step on my journey. I made the transition to Askham Bryan College in the hope I instil my passion in others. The new FdSc in Management of Aquatics and Conservation of Ocean is a fantastic degree perfect for anyone with a passion for marine life and desire to drive the industry forward, to a more ethically sustainable future.
