Chairman’s Chat Its been that busy that the January edition of Terras Times is coming out on the first of Feb… Sorry about that. We will be back to our regular four weekly slot shortly. Its just there is so much going on around Weymouth Football Club at the moment and as the SA we feel that we should be allocating our time to trying to get involved and help out . Its been an up and down January to date with a number of good results and performances along with the odd disappointment. That is the nature of the beast with Weymouth FC at the moment and we understand that its important we get behind the Management and the team for the run in, regardless.

Its been our usual busy month in the Comms office of WFCSA. We have had a fans forum along with a large number of matches, many of which have been long road trips. Form has been up and down but the one thing that is never compromised is the support. It’s a powerful thing that we have in our armory and we need to harness it for the good of the club. What’s in Store ? The clubs new online store remains under wraps despite a large amount of work going on behind the scenes. Elsewhere there have been more details released about out new away kit for next season. Weymouth Football Club would like to offer supporters the opportunity to be a part of the Terras away kit for the seasons 2017/18 & 2018/19. Yes, that's right, for £10 you can have your name embedded within the fabric of the material, similar to how the Jubilee Clock appears on the current home kit. The lettering will be similar in size to that seen on 'Class of 2016' type garments. The design is currently being worked on but the shirt will be white, WFC crest over the left breast and a claret stripe top to bottom through the badge. The exact trim and finer details will be published prior to any order being placed. Normal range of Joma sizes will be available. If you would like to take up this offer, then please contact the club office during office hours or the club shop on match days. The offer will be made available online for Exiles. Payment must be made with your order, there will be no obligation to purchase a shirt. If you do not like the final design once it is publicised you will have the opportunity to claim a full refund and have your name removed. Once the order has been placed, this option will longer be available. The closing date for applications will be our final home game on Saturday 22 April 2017.
#TERRASCOMMENT We talked last month about the need to get legends of the club more involved and without knowing it the reserves were already working on that very thing. The evening with the legends promises to be a great evening with lots of stories and insight from a time when our club was referred to as the “Chelsea of the Non-League”. Long time ago now. There are a lot of fund and profile raising events going on around Weymouth FC at this time and it is key that we get behind them and show what this club is all about. Not many clubs at our level have the level of support we do and can boast a podcast, high quality match day programme. We should be really proud of how we operate. On the pitch its been up and down with the latest result at Cambridge showing that we can be both brilliant and average on the same day! The season doesn’t look to have too much left in with regards to either promotion or relegation so lets enjoy it and work hard on getting it right next time around.
