Activities such as kayaking, horseback riding, fishing and white-water rafting are on offer here, and your resort accommodation is a relaxing haven amid the unspoilt wilderness.
As you drive along the Icefields Parkway between Jasper and Banff, you’ll have the opportunity to get right up close to the ancient Athabasca Glacier, one of the six principal branches of the Columbia Icefield. An enormous, specially modified Ice Explorer vehicle brings you onto this vast, 10,000-year-old sheet of ice, allowing you to explore it on foot and pose for some truly epic photographs.
