Chili Presbyterian Church awards scholarship

The Board of Deacons from the First Presbyterian Church of Chili has selected Ashleigh Naugle to be the recipient of the 2022 First Presbyterian Church of Chili Scholarship. Her church family is very proud of her accomplishments both at school and at church. They have watched her grow into an amazing young lady with an incredible faith. Her Youth Group Leader, Adam, says she is someone who is always willing to help, which is why seeing her at the church’s chicken barbecues, food cupboard, playing the bells, Youth Group activities, etc. is no surprise. The First Presbyterian Church of Chili couldn’t be more pleased to give her this recognition.

Ashleigh is the daughter of Brenda and the late Brian Naugle. She graduated from Churchville-Chili Central School District last month. In the fall, Ashleigh plans to attend SUNY Buffalo, where she will major in Speech and Language Pathology. After many volunteer opportunities with children, including co-teaching Children’s Church, Special Olympics, and the Unified Team at CCCSD, Ashleigh has developed a passion for working with children with developmental disabilities.

Chili American Legion Auxiliary awards two scholarships

The American Legion Auxiliary Chili Unit 1830 awarded two $1,000 scholarships. The winners are Audrey Booth and Mia Bodulovic.

Audrey Booth is a 2022 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School. She will be attending North Carolina University at Wilmington this fall studying Exercise Science. She intends on continuing her education with a masters to become a physician’s assistant. Audrey has been a long standing member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mia Bodulvic is a 2022 graduate of Gates Chili High School who will be attending Niagara University of NY with an expected field of study in biochemistry.
