WELCOME to the GOLF NEST! The Golf Nest at Weston Golf and Country Club is Canada’s premier indoor golf learning center. For the past several winters countless numbers of our members have joined us for a winter session to hone their skills and stay connected to their golfing friends. Supported by our team of highly qualified Golf Professionals, the Golf Nest offers a comfortable and safe environment to improve your game. For those members that have yet to experience the Golf Nest we offer 9 hitting stations, a 2500 square ft. putting green, two Trackman simulator bays, and a dedicated short game area with a realistic bunker! All this with on-going coaching from the Professional Staff. The finest facility should have the gold standard in technology, Trackman is a doppler radar-based ball and club tracking hardware used by the best players in the world. Our team have an in-depth knowledge of Trackman’s operation and how it can elevate your game. Along with technical support Trackman also provides the most accurate and realistic simulated golf experience available in the marketplace. We expect the Golf Nest to be an active club amenity for the up-coming winter season. With that in mind and considering the current situation, it is fair in keeping with our pledge to the membership to provide a safe environment, members will be required to wear a face covering while enjoying the facility.


December 1st marks the start of the official Golf Nest Membership. The winter session will run until Thursday March 31st, earlier or later contingent on the golf course and or long-range opening date. Participation in the 2021/22 session is available to members of the club with limited. guest opportunities . .For those wishing to register now, please sign up via the registration button at the bottom of the accompanying email. GOLF PROFESSIONALS MARK LINTON Mark's teaching has evolved with the shifting world of information and technology, keeping him on the cutting edge of his industry. Mark will assist you in developing your best golf swing with the use of Trackman, video and 3D motion analysis. Mark has 30 years of teaching experience, providing him with the unique skill of translating sophisticated concepts into simple tangible coaching practices. MATT ENOKSEN Matthew is a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Humber College and has been a member of the professional staff forthreeo years. During his time at Humber College and Weston he has gained considerable knowledge of the golf swing and swing analysis using TrackMan. Whether you have a long-term goal in mind or just need to get one aspect of your game back on the right track, Matthew will offer clear and understandable guidance to reach your goals. ½ hour of instruction $60

SEAN O'HARA Sean graduated from the Professional Golf Management program at Humber College where for three years he was a member of the golf team which went on to win three provincial championships. Sean gained valuable knowledge of the golf swing and Trackman launch monitor during his time at Humber. Having competed in two Canadian Amateur Championships, he brings a successful playing background to Weston. Sean can help members of all playing abilities; whether you are looking for technical instruction or help with the mental side of the game, he will offer a simple and effective plan to help improve your golf game. ½ hour of instruction $60

CODE OF CONDUCT

We anticipate a fluid environment with respect to government mandated health and safety protocols throughout the winter season. The club may have to quickly change or pivot on Covid-19 policies. If required, these policy changes will be communicated promptly. Members for the winter session will be required to adhere to club vaccination policy Members of The Weston Golf and Country Club, Limited and their guests will be expected to respect and adhere to the following general standards of conduct; these standards of conduct have been created to ensure the maximum enjoyment of all members of the Club. Any breach of these standards is subject to disciplinary action, by the Board of Directors. Maintain courteous relations with the Club staff and fellow members Maintain the highest standards of personal conduct so as to reflect credit and add stature to the Club. Familiarize themselves with and abide by the spirit and letter of all rules and regulations of the Club as approved by the Board of Directors. Observe the highest standards of conduct, comportment and integrity when representing the Club at outside events. Address concerns or complaints, in writing, only to members of the Board of Directors or the Club’s General Manager (i.e., there shall be no direct confrontation of fellow members, guests or staff).

LIABILITY Anyone using this practice facility is personally liable for any injury and or damage howsoever caused. Members are reminded that they are also personally liable and responsible for the actions of their guest(s).


DRESS CODE ALL MEMBERS Golf attire should be tailored and in good taste Denim or denim style attire is not acceptable Pants, skirts, skorts with cargo style pockets are not permitted. Headgear should not be worn backwards. Commercial logos must be in good taste. Unacceptable attire includes short shorts/skirts, bike shorts, yoga wear, sweat pants, and similar workout attire. MALE MEMBERS Golf shirts must have collars. Without exception, shirts must be tucked in, regardless of design. Access to The Nest will not be granted to gentlemen sporting an untucked shirt. FEMALE MEMBERS Golf shorts, skirts and dresses are acceptable provided they are in good taste and not shorter than mid- thigh. Shirts must have a collar or sleeves. Leggings are not permitted unless worn under a skort, shorts or dress. Tank tops, halter tops, tops with exposed midriffs are not permitted. FOOTWEAR Indoor footwear only Golf shoes or sneakers preferred
