April 2024

Approximately 20 professionals will begin their 9-month leadership development journey in September 2024. Each monthly session will have a particular focus and will be held at various locations around the county. Team projects will positively impact the community and reinforce facilitative leadership skills. The application deadline is May 26, 2024. The cost is $1500 for Chamber members. Included are monthly session materials and lunch, access to Westmoreland County Leaders from a number of disciplines, on-site, behind the scenes access to select County companies and key leaders and a graduation lunch.

“Leadership Westmoreland gave me an amazing opportunity to learn, grow, network, and flourish. The program is geared toward taking an introspective look at your leadership skills and fostering their growth. I cannot understate the appreciation I have for the program in not only adding to my leadership toolbox, but also allowing me to forge friendships, gain a new respect and admiration for my community and the great things that are occurring every day, and allowing me to experience the history and tradition of Westmoreland County.”

Leadership Westmoreland Youth Academy will run June 17-21, 2024. The application deadline is April 29, 2024. The Academy is open to all Westmoreland County students who will be freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors in September 2024 with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. The cost is $175 and includes transportation to County locations, daily light breakfast, box lunch and snacks and all materials.

“My daughter enjoyed her time at Leadership Westmoreland Youth Academy! She found it to be a great experience. This is a wonderful educational learning opportunity for students. Thank you to you and your team for providing this event!”

- S.L. (Penn Trafford Parent)

“Leadership Westmoreland is the best opportunity for local business owners, business professionals, and entrepreneurs. I am thrilled to have been a part of it. I thought so highly of it that I had my son participate in the student program last summer.”
