Our parks are the perfect after school hang out spot for school aged youngsters! The FREE “drop-in” Parks Program is open Monday through Friday beginning September 3rd and offers a quality recreation experience featuring games, arts & crafts, sports, homework help and much more!
Program will be closed November 28th & 29th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Westminster Chorale
We are a volunteer ensemble of singers from all walks of life who enjoy being part of a community, united in the belief that great music can be made when people come together. We carry this belief beyond our rehearsal space, performing for local civic events, retirement facilities, and community events, as well as our own concerts. Whether you have been singing longer than you can recall, or are looking for a new hobby, we encourage any and all who love to sing to join us.
The Westminster Chorale is a home for singers with diverse backgrounds, ages, and musical tastes. Members range from highly experienced professionals to enthusiastic amateurs. New recruits are always welcome.

Online - Driver's Ed Course
The DMV allows teens to receive their Learner’s Permit at age 15.5 and a license at age 16. This class is the FIRST, required step that must be completed. This is an online course with videos, animated driving scenarios and sample test questions. Learn the rules of the road, major causes of traffic collisions, DMV procedures and much more. Designed to teach both the lay person & professional how to initially respond to cardiac or respiratory arrest. This award-winning Scottish bagpipe band marches in parades, plays at a variety of special events, holds annual concerts, takes part in regional and national competitions, and is available for bookings at any private party or public event. radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services
RACES are Public-safety volunteers which are licensed Amateur Radio Operators that are trained to assist local government during time of emergency and disaster or for routine events and activities. They are trained and certified to provide public-safety communications support. Westminster RACES are looking for licensed Ham Radio Operators to perform vital volunteer communications during Westminster Community Events and Disaster or Emergency Incidents.

At Westminster Nursery School the child is at the center of all we do. Our curriculum and activities are play based, process driven and child directed. Through open ended play, the children find purpose in their day, while developing the skills they need at a pace they delight in.
Additionally, we are a cooperative preschool, which presents parents with the opportunity for wide-ranging participation in the child’s preschool experience and development. Parents typically help in the classroom 1-2 times each month, can participate in various aspects of the school planning and even serve on the board.

The West Orange County Community Emergency Response Team or CERT Program is comprised of those who live or work in Buena Park, Cypress, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, Westminster and their attached communities. The CERT Academy is a 20 hour course and fills up quickly so reserve your seat early by pre-registering at www.westcountycert.com.
The West County CERT Program’s primary purpose is to educate people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact them at home, at work, or at play. The CERT Basic Training covers basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT members are better able to assist their family, neighborhood or workplace following an event when first responders (paramedics, fire, and police) are not immediately available to help. In an emergency, CERT teaches you to take care of your personal safety first, then your family, and then those around you. It is important to know what to do to protect ourselves and our family members before, during, and after an emergency event.
Once the basic CERT training has been completed CERT members are also encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking an active role in emergency preparedness projects, bi-monthly Team pot-luck dinners and other events like the Westminster Tet Parade. These events help to build Team comradery, keep members up to date, and refine the skills taught in the basic training.
