FROM THE DIRECTOR Dear Westminster Neighbors, The City’s Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department (PR&L) invites you to learn a new skill, pursue fitness, and connect with community this summer! Upon arriving in Westminster in late 2021 to join the City as Director of PR&L, the first thing to land in my mailbox was our Winter/ Spring Activity Guide. My family and I were amazed at the wide range and depth of recreational opportunities offered to the residents of Westminster—opportunities we are excited to join in on! Be sure to check out some of our newer offerings this summer, like the large and well-equipped outdoor fitness area at City Park Fitness Center. Enjoy a rejuvenated Irving Street Library complete with new paint and furnishings. Changes are coming to College Hill Library this summer as well, which will be temporarily relocated to The Rotunda at Front Range Community College while the library’s original HVAC system is replaced. Don’t forget that Westminster residents can enjoy access to the library’s vast online resources free of charge! We have all been through some pretty tough times over the past couple years, so I invite you to refresh and recharge this summer. Tap into the amazing resources provided by our dedicated staff. We want to promote wellness for everyone and understand that this means something different for every person reading this guide. Pick out what works best for you. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Our expert program leaders will help you succeed. I hope you will consider taking on a new adventure this summer with your friends at Westminster’s Department of Parks, Recreation & Libraries! With warm regards and wishing you wellness, Tomás Herrera-Mishler Dir. Parks, Recreation & Libraries City of Westminster

Online and General Registration Tips
Minimum/Maximum Enrollment
• If you have done any business with our organization (registered for a class, bought a facility pass, reserved a birthday party, etc.), you already have a username and password. If you are unsure of those items, please contact any recreation center.
Early registration is recommended as many classes fill. Classes must reach the minimum enrollment three days prior to the first day of the class or the class is canceled. Participants are notified and transfers, refunds or credits are made.
• If you try to create an account online and the system indicates that your address, phone number, email, etc. already exists, this means that you already have an account/household in the system. Please contact any recreation center for assistance. • If you create an account/household online, the system will default your status to non-resident and charge the non-resident fees. • Complete your registration form including activity code numbers. • Sign the registration form and waiver. • Make your check or money order payable to the City of Westminster or to the agency or company specified in the class description. Please Note: Registration for some adult and youth sports programs do not follow the class registration schedule and procedures are listed in those sections.
Refund Guidelines • If you are unable to attend a program/class, or the program does not meet your needs, the following refund guidelines apply: • If you are unable to attend a class, please contact the city three days prior to the start date to guarantee a refund. • If the city is unable to run a class, you will be refunded. • Refunds take 10 to 14 working days to process. Verification of your address is recommended to ensure proper delivery. • Credits/refunds can be held in your household account for future use until August 31. All credits not used by August 31 will be automatically refunded. Credits that were a result from a payment made by check or cash will be refunded by a check. Credits that were a result from a payment made by credit or debit card will be refunded back to that card.
