All Levels Bird Walk

Say goodbye to summer at our annual Westy Family Camp Night! Enjoy activities like live animal shows, guided nature programs, arts and crafts and much more!

Check-in begins Saturday at 1 p.m. and all campers must check out by Sunday at 12 p.m.

Bird enthusiasts of all levels are encouraged to join fall morning bird walks with Standley Lake’s volunteers, Mike Clark, avid birder, and Jeff Birek, local Ornithologist! Experience the chance to observe and identify Standley Lake’s fall birds and enjoy the lake’s unique, natural setting. AGES: 10+

Private Rowing Lessons

Learn how to row at Standley Lake with certified US Rowing coach Natalie Ormond! This is a 2-hour private, one-on-one session that covers the basics of rowing technique, boat orientation and safety. Once you have taken the course, you can rent the oar board from the park, so you can easily access the solitude areas of the lake while getting an overall body workout! AGES: 13+

Wyld Water

Join us for a unique, immersive journey where we will settle into the natural landscape and awaken our senses. You will be guided on a gentle paddle as you move with the waters of Standley Lake. During this 3-hour experience, we will leave our stresses behind and connect with the abundance of the natural world. Any paddle craft type is welcome for this program. $25 if renting paddle craft/$15 if bringing own paddle craft. AGES: 16+
