serve at nature camp Do you have a passion for service and a drive to learn? A variety of local AmeriCorps positions are now open—including the Camp Naturalist Fellow!

Our AmeriCorps members are making a powerful impact in the community. They’ve been instrumental in removing invasive species from our parks, including through their partnership with TICT Tuesdays. At Happy Hollow Park alone, they’ve cleared over 7 acres of invasive honeysuckle—helping restore more native green space. Their ongoing efforts are making our community greener.

The Camp Naturalist Fellow plays an essential role in delivering environmental education at our nature camp at Celery Bog. Fellows help campers explore, learn, and grow through hands-on outdoor experiences that spark curiosity. If you or someone you know loves the outdoors and giving back, encourage them to apply today! LAST GLANCE A group of sweet “elves” came together at the John R. Dennis Wellness Center before the holidays to make cards and gifts for friends and family. This evening was part of the Parent’s Night Out Series, events created to give parents a well-deserved night out while kids enjoy seasonal, hands-on activities. During the Little Elves Workshop, kids played elf-themed games, raced in a holiday relay, and “shopped” for gifts for their loved ones at a special pop-up shop. The next Parent’s Night Out event is Love Bug Jamboree on February 14.
