Prize Details
General Terms and Conditions
Current financial members who have an active membership in the SGAC Learn to Swim program
1. At the commencement of the Promotion, members in a Learn to Swim Program can collect a ‘Swim to Win’ card (“Card”) from a member of the Aquatics team when they attend a lesson
2. At the conclusion of each lesson, the member will need to have their Card stamped by an Aquatics team member
Note: Students accessing a ‘Make-up’ Class will NOT be eligible for a stamp
Note: Students are only eligible for one (1) stamp per week.
3. When a member has six (6) stamps on their Card, they are eligible to claim the Minor Prize
4. When a member has twelve (12) stamps on their Card they are eligible to claim the Major Prize.
5. Only one (1) Card will be supplied to each member Only that member’s card can be stamped for attendance at a lesson.
6. Lost or misplaced Cards can be replaced on request however they will not be back dated with stamps earned from previous lessons. Stamps are non-transferrable.
Minor Prize – Small Hot Chocolate from the SGAC café
Major Prize – SGAC water stress ball
1. All decisions of West HQ (and its representatives) are final.
2. Employees of West HQ to run and staff the ‘‘Swim to Win” promotion.
3. Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted or exchanged for any other object, cash amount or value, unless authorised by the Promoter.
4. West HQ accepts no responsibility for any additional costs associated with winning any prizes, other than stated in these Terms and Conditions.
5. West HQ reserves the right to:
a) Verify the validity of a Card (including but not limited to, the Eligible Member’s identity and age). In the event that a Winner cannot provide suitable proof of identification, the
Permit Number
Winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered; and
b) Reject any Card that is illegible, has been tampered with or is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and
c) Disqualify any Member that has not acted in good faith and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
d) Entry into the competition is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
6. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other material relating to this competition, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
7. Entry is only open to SGAC learn to swim members.
8. The Promoter reserves the right and licence to use a selected entrant’s name, suburb, photograph, image and likeness for the purpose of promoting and advertising West HQ
9. Subject to law, the Promoter (including its employees, agents and contractors) has no liability to any person for injury (including death), loss or damage whatsoever howsoever arising in connection with this Promotion (including the awarding, condition, use or misuse of the prizes). This clause does not apply to the extent that West HQ liability (if any) arises from an act or omission of West HQ in respect of its supply of services and/or goods to the prize winner in the ordinary course of West HQ’s business.
10. The Promoter’s decision in connection with any aspect of this Promotion will be final and binding.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or alter this Competition at any time (such as in the case of unforeseen circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control), subject to compliance with any Fair Trading guidelines.
12. Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in immediate disqualification of any entrant.
13. Disqualification will be at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
