FALL Programs open for registration on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 6:00 pm and can either be completed online or by phone

At 6:00 pm on September 16, leave ONE voicemail: This timestamps your call and reserves your spot in the queue. Staff will call you back in order of sequence. After registering by phone, you can pay later online with a credit card or at the Municipal Office (76 Morison Drive, Windsor) with cash or debit. Payments are due 5 business days before the program begins. If payment is not received, you are removed from the program automatically.

Recreation Programs Registration is required | Listed alphabetically Aquafit (Evening class)

18+ years | Ted Canavan Athletic Centre, 63 Kings Edgehill Ln, Windsor | Tuesdays, October 6 November 24 | 7:30-8:15 pm | $63/participant Join us one evening a week for eight weeks for Aquafit fun! These classes are registration-based programs, so you cannot mix and match class times and drop-ins cannot be accommodated.

Aquafit (Morning classes)

18+ years | Ted Canavan Athletic Centre, 63 Kings Edgehill Ln, Windsor | Tuesdays & Thursdays, October 6 - December 3 | 7:30-8:15 pm | $140/participant Participants can register in one of the following options: • Option one: 9:15-10:00 am • Option two: 10:20-11:05 am These classes are fun, easy on the joints, and can be easily modified for your needs. These classes are registration-based programs, so you cannot mix and match class times and drop-ins cannot be accommodated.

Chair Exercise

55+ years |$15/WHRM resident | $60/Non-WHRM participant | Participants can register for one of the following Chair Exercise locations: • Brooklyn Civic Centre, 995 Hwy 215, Newport Tuesdays, October 13-December 1 | 10:30-11:15 am • Upper Vaughan Community Hall, 1015 Hwy 14, Upper Vaughan | Wednesdays, October 14December 2 | 1:00-1:45 pm • Hantsport Baptist Church, 6 Willow St, Hantsport Thursdays, October 15-December 3 | 1:15-2:00 pm • Brooklyn Civic Centre, 995 Hwy 215, Newport Mondays, October 19-December 8 | 10:30-11:15 am Join Holly Ross as she leads gentle and fluid movements that are accessible to everyone! With the use of Therabands, participants can add their own strength components to this class. These classes are registration-based programs, so you cannot mix and match class times and drop-ins cannot be accommodated.

Community Fitness

18+ years | West Hants Sports Complex, 16 Centennial Drive, Windsor | Saturdays, October 17-December 5 9:00-9:45 am | $22/WHRM resident | $86/Non-WHRM participant | Join Janice Forand on the Turf for a program that is designed for beginners to fitness or for those returning to activity. Youth ages 14-17 can register with a participating adult.

Swimming Lessons Inclusion Swimming Support

Inclusion support is great for participants who may require extra support to participate in group swimming lessons (trouble staying with the class, sensory sensitivities, etc). If your child requires inclusion support please pre-register on Wednesday, September 16 between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Please call 902-509-1122 and leave a voicemail. Space is limited.

12 months-12 years | Ted Canavan Athletic Centre, 63 Kings Edgehill Ln, Windsor | Sundays, October 18-December 6 | $127 for Tots-Swimmer 2 |$137 for Swimmer 3-Swimmer 6 | Program participants must meet the required age by the start date of the program. For guidance on choosing a swim level for your participant, scan the QR codes with your cell phone camera.

7-12 years | Youth will create their own personal pizza and learn basic food preparation skills. This is a drop-off outdoor program. These low impact classes are designed for postnatal health and strength, however, all are welcome as these exercises are beneficial to everyone!
