FAVORITES TO THE FORE.
Favorites won four out of the five races a t the YCnda Jockey Club’s meeting on the local race course yesterday, and so backers should have had rather the better of matters. The heat and dust conspired against the comfort of racegoers, but the racing was of a high-class order, and there were one or two exciting finishes to stir the enth u siasm.
