Merit Scholarships are automatically granted to graduating high school seniors with an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher.

DIVERSITY COMMITMENT: This scholarship is intended for incoming students who have promoted diversity within their community. At WOU we are committed to recognizing and supporting outstanding students from diverse cultural, educational, and economic backgrounds, with unique talents, interests, and life experiences.



• Up to $6,000 for up to five years for incoming freshman
• Up to $6,000 for up to three years for transfer students
BILINGUAL AND DIVERSE TEACHER SCHOLARS: In collaboration with Oregon school districts and community colleges, WOU is seeking smart, energetic bilingual and bicultural students eager to join the next generation of Oregon teachers through the Bilingual Teacher Scholars Program!
• Up to $3,000 for up to five years for incoming freshman
• Up to $3,000 for up to three years for transfer students
OTHER FUNDS
TRANSFERS: This scholarship is intended for incoming transfer students who have excelled academically at the community college and/or university level. Students must have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative transfer GPA.
• Transfer Scholarship: $2,500 for up to two years
