Two Upcoming Career Development Fairs

FIRST AVENUE CAREER & GRAD SCHOOL FAIR

The Annual First Avenue Career & Grad School Fair will be on April 1st, a Friday, at the University of Portland Chiles Center! Events begin at 11 AM, and the fair itself starts at 12 Noon. This year we are so excited to host a variety of recruiters, from more than 150 organizations! Graduate Schools will also be part of the fair, including WOU’s own Grad Programs.

The Fair will feature two panels for students to attend. Presenters include HR representatives talking about job search success, and graduate schools discussing the process of applying to graduate programs. We will also host an area for students to network with alumni during the fair!

This is a highly beneficial experience for WOU students, where they can network, connect with full-time and internship employers, and learn about career paths. For more information, or for students to register, please contact SLCD or go to the fair’s website at www.olapcfirstavenue.org

Wou Majors Fair

April 7th

11 AM 1 PM

On April 7th, SLCD and Academic Advising are co-sponsoring a Majors Fair! Faculty from the different majors here at WOU will be at tables in the Oregon Room to answer questions about their majors, career paths, major requirements, and just general inquiries! A great way for students who are looking for a major or wondering about one to connect to faculty face-to-face! For more information, please contact SLCD or Academic Advising.
