WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY
CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS

In Fall 2025, Western Illinois University will welcome the first academic building on the Macomb campus constructed this century and the premier arts venue in the region - the WIU Center for Performing Arts.
The CPA will transform the campus landscape and enhance the experience for all WIU students and serve as the cultural and performing arts destination for the campus community and the entire region.
We did not arrive here by accident. Our talented students and faculty, dedicated alumni, and our passionate community persevered in their unwavering support to bring this world-class center to Macomb. As we near the longawaited opening, we must now prepare for the financial realities of operating and maintaining the facility.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the Center for Performing Arts as we aim to create an endowment to help fund the operations of the CPA. Your philanthropic support strengthens our ability to educate students, enhances the overall campus experience, and brings preeminent arts to our local community.
Philanthropic support can take many forms. You may choose to honor someone through a name recognition opportunity in the building. You may establish an endowment that represents your legacy to the arts at WIU. And you may also elect to make a one-time or recurring gift in support of the Center for Performing Arts endowment.
We hope you will join us in this transformational journey.
What matters is that our students will have facilities to train and learn in that are worthy of their immense talents.
That our spectacular faculty can teach and create in spaces that long for a sense of timeless artistry.
The Center for Performing Arts is more than just a building. It is our art. It is our learning. And it is our soul.
