Evergreen Evergreen Cultural Centre Speakeasy Sessions continue until January 31!

Shake out those “glad rags” (evening clothes); It’s time to get together again! The Roaring 2020’s are here to stay at Evergreen, and we are delighted to announce that our socially-distant series of speakeasy-inspired, in-person live performances will continue in the New Year. Starting in January, you’re invited to our studio theatre for abrand-new line up of talented local performers and rescheduled shows from our Fall Sessions. We are also pleased to announce two special speakeasy performances – The Swing Sessions!

The Art Gallery at Evergreen is open from November to January with their new exhibition: Wayfinding. The exhibition Wayfinding brings together recent work by local artists Leanne M. Christie, Sara Graham and Devon Knowles, who live and create art in response to their cities—Coquitlam, Port Moody and Vancouver—and the urban architecture that makes up these spaces and others like them. Through mediums such as oil painting, photography and experimental stained glass, the artists consider the language and materials of city building.
