ABOUT WCDS PRODUCTIONS
Welcome to the show! Westchester Country Day School is proud to present the first of three productions for this season, The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition, with a cast of more than 70 students from 1st through 12th grades.
Theatre productions at Westchester are truly a community effort supported by parents, faculty and volunteers who believe in the value of the performing arts in teaching and inspiring creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and character development. The lighting, sound, stage crew, scenery, makeup, and other elements of Westchester’s productions are largely provided by volunteers and students who are learning the craft of theatre performance and production. We encourage participation and welcome performers and crew members of all experience levels.
For some of the students and volunteers, this is their first show. We encourage you to please join us in cheering them on as they develop valuable technical and performance skills in this live learning lab, the Rives Hall stage.
There is a place for everyone in the arts at WCDS! From audience member to volunteer to performer, we hope you will find a way to join the magic and fun!
