FIRST POSITION!

A WESTCHESTER BALLET COMPANY COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM

Westchester Ballet Company, in collaboration with our community partner Rising Above Boundaries (RAB), has developed a ballet program for children 6-9 years of age in Ossining, New York, called First Position. The goal of this program is to provide children in the community, who do not have have equitable access to the arts, a robust and authentic introduction to ballet. These weekly ballet classes, organized and run out of RAB's community center offer enrichment, connection, and opportunity to learn and grow. WBC provides the instruction and full ballet attire at no cost to children's families. You can directly sponsor a dancer in this program and take advantage of a matching grant offered by one of our generous supporters.
