Westchester’s Annual Celebration On Saturday January 26th Westchester’s Chamber of Commerce held it’s annual Celebrate Westchester Dinner at Joseph Tousek’s Alpine Banquet Haus. This yearly community event severs many purposes. The opportunity for residents, local businesses and members of Westchester’s various municipal organizations to come together, dine and applaud the achievements made in our Village and to honor those who made those successes. The Dinner began with thanks given to the Members and Directors of the Chamber of Commerce for their hard work to our community and the installation of the new Officers and Directors who will take up the responsibility for leading the Chamber for the upcoming year. The Chamber also presented to the audience its annual charitable donations to various community organizations. A special announcement was made to the audience, the Westchester Village Board will be bestowing a special award to Lifetime Chamber of Commerce Member and one of Westchester’s most active citizens Mr. William Ernst. Because of his devotion and commitment to Village, Newcastle Avenue will be dedicated in his honor. The Dinner ceremony continued with each of Westchester’s municipal organizations formally presenting Persons of the Year awards to citizens who have distinguished themselves for their contributions, dedication and service to our
