Chapeaux & Chinoiserie, Red Haute Luncheon & Children’s Style Show

Austin’s favorite children’s fashion show, the Women’s Symphony League of Austin’s annual Red Haute Luncheon & Children’s Style Show, commenced on Sunday, February 26th at the new downtown Austin Marriott. Combining fashion, fun and philanthropy for an ultra family-friendly event, the Austin community gathered to celebrate this beloved WSL tradition.

This year’s event chairs, Caron Camp Hutchison and Meredith Presley Wood, threw an exceptional party with a “Best of Show” hat contest and homemade fascination station where little ones could make their own bespoke fascinators.

Emceed by Trevor Scott and festive Hugs & Kisses games led by Celeste Hubert, guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and an adorable runway show featuring some of Austin’s littlest style stars.

Produced by Sue Webber and her wonderful team, kids stunned on the runway in festive designs by: Alexa James Baby, Bizzy Lizzy Boutique, Estilo Kids, Lilly Pulitzer, Love Shack Fancy, and Pajama Princess. Before and after the show, guests had the opportunity to shop from participating marketplace boutiques. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Austin Symphony Orchestra and its education programs for children.

For over 70 years, the Women’s Symphony League of Austin has dedicated its energy, talents and volunteerism by providing service and financial support to the Austin Symphony Orchestra. The Women’s Symphony League is the largest annual financial supporter of the Austin Symphony Orchestra educational programs for children. Over 65,000 children benefit from the innovative educational programs of the ASO every year.
