During their four years at St. Michael’s, students complete internships during Winter Term, attend weekly Mass, volunteer, and appear in concerts and plays. Athletes enjoy playing multiple sports, achieving numerous personal bests amid TAPPS Division 5 regional and state competitions. Students serve the greater community and help and support one another, taking lifelong friendships with them as they leave.

On Decision Day, our graduates proudly displayed their new college and university flare – from Texas A&M, Tulane, and Trinity to Johns Hopkins, MIT, and Belmont, among others. In true St. Michael’s fashion, these students rose to unprecedented challenges to successfully navigate a unique high school experience in a challenging world environment.

Among the many student achievements during this past year, our LightSaders robotics team competed in Houston at the FIRST® Championship

- the ultimate celebration of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and innovation, taking second place and becoming the top robotics team in Texas.

We also broke ground on our beautiful 50-acre campus with a new expansion project, the Hub for Advanced Learning Opportunities (HALO). The HALO Project is a bold plan to unlock student potential with a new academic

wing to meet emerging education model requirements beyond the classroom and enhance the St. Michael’s campus experience. The HALO project is structured to:

■ CREATE broad academic diversity to engage many types of learners and learning.

■ DESIGN dedicated and adaptable spaces for all students as they strive to reach their potential and discover

their interests.

■ PROVIDE all students the necessary exposure to a range of disciplines so they may determine and vet their path of collegiate study.

Our hopes and prayers go with our graduates as they step forward into college life and career.

■ EXPAND further the interdisciplinary core learning and collaboration already in place at St. Michael’s.
