RichardB.“Rick”TaylorisaCertifiedWildlifeBiologistwithover30yearsofexperienceinnaturalresource management.ArangeandwildlifegraduateofTexasA&IUniversity(TexasA&MKingsville),heworkedasa seniorstaffbiologistforTexasParksandWildlifeDepartmentfor27years.Duringhistenure,heprovided technicalassistancetoprivatelandownersonover1.5millionacresofTexasrangelandintheSouthTexas, EdwardsPlateau,PostOakPrairies,andCoastalPrairiesecologicalregions.Rickisanexpertinwildlifeand rangelandecologyprovidingtechnicalassistanceinwhite-taileddeerandothergamespeciesmanagement,game birdmanagement,non-gamewildlifemanagement,livestockmanagement,watermanagement,andhabitat managementincludingmechanical,andprescribedburns.Histechnicalguidancehaswonlandownersthe prestigiousLoneStarLandStewardshipAwardfortheEdwardsPlateauEcologicalregionin2004,theSouth TexasEcologicalregionin2006,andtheAldoLeopoldStatewideLandStewardshipAwardfor2012.Rickhas beenalicensedrealestateagentforovertwentyyearsandattainedhisBroker’slicensecertificationovertenyears ago.HeisalifememberoftheNationalRifleAssociation,andLifeMemberoftheSanAntonioLivestockShow.
