Message from Craig Farnsworth, Chief

In 2023, we look to accomplish the following:

•Implementation and training of new NFIRS Reporting and Preplan Software provided by Burlington County.

•Apply for additional Federal Funding

•Increase daily staffing.

•Decrease unnecessary call volume.

•Complete pre-build conference for new ambulance.

•Complete pre-build conference for new ladder.

•Work with our neighboring towns to reduce reliance on our Department or enter shared service agreements for compensation.

•Reduce on-the-job injuries.

•Continue to reduce exposure to on-the-job cancer.

•Create a new 5-year strategic plan for 2023-2027 with input from our members, Township Officials, and our residents.

I would like to thank the community for the sustained support given to the department and our firefighters. I am grateful to be a part of such a dedicated group of individuals who work each day to protect the lives and property within Westampton Township, its ‘citizens and visitors. Each day I see their commitment to provide a valuable service to our area and achieve our mission. It is truly an honor to be a part of this organization and this community.
