ORANGE OUTLOOK A new school year is already here and I am inspired by the incredible momentum across West-MEC. From major campus developments and new programs to expanding industry partnerships, we continue to create more opportunities for our students while strengthening Arizona’s workforce. As we grow, I believe it is important to keep our community informed about the people, progress and priorities moving West-MEC forward. Each semester, I’ll bring you the Orange Outlook, featuring a few important updates on what’s happening across our district and what’s ahead. Construction is moving forward at the Southeast Campus and Career Academy , creating new spaces for students to explore career pathways and prepare for their futures. Both campuses are scheduled for completion in fall 2027.
West-MEC is growing its team! We’re hiring instructors for new programs, while connecting with industry professionals who can serve as strategic partners and help shape the future of CTE. West-MEC will offer 43 career pathway programs in fall 2027. Applications open October 13 for students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year. Join us at an upcoming open house to explore a campus near you.
