Creating an account for booking a community venue ▪ Start on Auckland Council Community Venues webpage 1.

Click “Find and book a venue”

Click “Sign in”

Click “Register”

To create a new account with Auckland Council, click “Auckland Council”. You can also log in using your Facebook, Gmail or RealMe account.

Enter details and create a password. Please note the password requirements. Once each requirement is met the X will turn to a You can then “Submit registration”.

You should be directed to a page advising registration is successful.

Click “Continue”

Log in with the email address and password just created.

Once logged in, you will need to enter contact details to create your profile. This is very helpful when making bookings as your profile information will appear automatically meaning you do not need to enter it every time you make a booking.

Account has now been created, ready to make bookings.

Making a recurring booking ▪ Start on Auckland Council Community Venues webpage 1.

Click “Find and book a venue”

Type your preferred venue in Please note: you can only use one criteria. the “Venue name” search box and click search (if you do not know the venue name, you can search by suburb)

This will take you to the venue searched or to a list of venues within or surrounding the suburb searched. Click on the venue name you would like to book.

Once on the venue page, scroll down for information about the facility and prices/capacity of each room.

Under each room you can check the availability.

If the date and time is available, select the book button to continue.

Log in to your Auckland Council account (to create an account please refer to page 2).

Once logged in you will be asked to choose your booking time. For recurring bookings tick the box under “Do you want to create multiple bookings”

Enter the first date you wish to book, and the last date.

You can then enter how often you want the booking to occur each week.

9a. If you would like to book daily recurring bookings for example; every other day.

You will need to choose option 1 – ‘Daily recurring pattern’.

9b. If you would like to book weekly recurring bookings for example; the same day every week. You will need to choose option 2 – ‘Weekly recurring pattern’.

9c. If you would like to book monthly recurring bookings for example; the first Sunday of every month. You will need to choose option 3 – ‘Monthly recurring pattern’.

9d. If you would like to book different days and/or times, with no pattern for example; Tuesday and Wednesday one week, and the following week a Thursday. You will need to choose option 4 – ‘No pattern’. You will then be able to enter dates manually.

10. Then proceed to the “booking occurrences” page. Here you can check your dates and times are correct as well as being able to edit or delete dates and add extra dates.

11. Complete all details about your booking. Read and accept the terms and conditions before proceeding.

12. On the booking summary page, check the booking is correct. If everything is correct – click proceed.

Payment options – to confirm and pay the booking straight away select “credit card” To make a tentative booking select “Internet banking” or “In person” If you are already set up to be build monthly, you can either pay up front by selecting “credit card” or select “on account” to continue being billed monthly.

If you wish to be set up to receive invoices at the end of every month, contact the venue hire team.
