NASM REACCREDITATION SINCE1996

This academic year was another milestone year as the Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts has once again been awarded full reaccreditation from the National Association of Music (NASM), a recognition continually received since 1996.

NASM establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials for music and music-related disciplines, and also provides assistance to institutions and individuals engaged in artistic, scholarly, educational and other music-related endeavors.

It began with a visit to our campus by Barcelonaborn organist, Aaron Ribas, in partnership with the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C., and finished with an exhilarating recital on the Washington National Cathedral’s Great Organ.
