Die Ritter der Tafelrunde bringen Trinksprüche aus, Mar tin Luther selbst hält einige seiner Tischreden. Schankmagd Carola ruft zum Wadentanz auf den Tischen und die Gesellschaft gibt kurzerhand das Orchester.
