INTRODUCTION VISION
With Suzhou University as the main body and student associations as the lead, the project aims to stimulate the potential of the campus, its functions and the surrounding transition space, and establish a new learning and living system and campus operation mode.
1.the new called X-campus is located in the fringe.. The university is abundant in various functions, with students’ society spaces, forming a large educational complex, partly sharing with the city, and Encourage the functional time-sharing with adjacent community
2. Open campus. Encourage the joining of clubs, which are the most flexible part of the campus, representing students’ spontaneous vitality and creativity, using the club-related space as an entry point, and the functions of the campus will be more complex and requires a new operation mode.
3. X innovative mode. Using the involvement of urban activity and club life tomeet the multiple needs of campus management, student autonomy, and external interactions.
Exsiting problems within site:
Lack of regional identity and cultural recognition. There is a public impression of any given city, which is a common part of many individual impressions.
