Flags for Prince Philip

To mark the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on Friday 9 April 2021, several flags in Wendover were flown at half mast until his funeral planned for Saturday April 17. The Clock Tower flag was decorated with a black ribbon. Wendover News went to press on Wednesday 14 April.

May Elections

On Thursday 6 May elections will be held for the new Buckinghamshire Council and Buckinghamshire Parish Councils. These were postponed from 2020. Please see pages 15 - 17 for more information.

RAF Flypast

To celebrate the completion of training at RAF Halton, flypasts will take place, weather permitting. At press date, flypast dates have not been agreed.
