The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce champions our community’s quality of life and economic vitality through collaborative leadership and sound business advocacy.
The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization that serves to represent and promote the interests of the businesses in our community. We engage with community partners and offer programs to strengthen the business climate in the valley. The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce also serves the community by promoting our area as a destination for business, sports, and leisure travel including tournaments, competitions, trade shows, corporate meetings, and conventions to maximize additional overnight visitors, visitor expenditures, state and local tax revenues, and job opportunities.

APPLICATION & TUITION:
Class size is limited so applicants are encouraged to apply early. Tuition is $950 and is exclusive to Chamber Members. One $400 scholarship is available (see application).
DATES:
There are 9 sessions beginning in September. Classes are typically held from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on one Friday per month, dates to come. Locations vary each month between Chelan and Douglas County facilities.
GRADUATION:
Successful completion of the program ends with a celebration bike ride on the Apple Capital Loop Trail followed by lunch in June. Graduates are then invited to become members of the CLWV Alumni Group.

* Visit with elected officials, lobbyists, and legislative staff, tour the State Capital and learn more about the legislative process in February 2025. Space is limited and open to the Leadership class first.
Scholarships: One $400 scholarship is available. The scholarship award is selected by the Community Leadership Committee. To apply, please submit a one-page letter stating why you are requesting a financial scholarship by August 11, 2024. You will be notified of the committee’s decision by August 19, 2024.

Commitment: Community Leadership Wenatchee Valley is a learning experience and requires a commitment by the class members and their employers. Acceptance requires a commitment to attend the September retreat and eight sessions. Continued absenteeism may result in dismissal from the program with no refund of tuition.

At these events, educators and local industry professionals come together to introduce students to work experiences that engage, train and inspire them for the 21st-century workforce that is in demand by regional employers
In addition to connecting with colleges and industry professionals, students who attend the expos will get to engage in hands-on work based activities, explore workplace tools and equipment and learn from real job descriptions.
Businesses, educational institutions, training programs, and student support services are all encouraged to participate at the event as exhibitors.
