We live in a society where men are constantly being put down and pressured to act in stereotypical ways and unable to express their true emotions. The ‘Man Down’ project aims to highlight, re-ignite and re-define what it means to be a man in the 21st Century. Regardless of your age, background or status, let us come together as a collective and break down these conditioned barriers.

Impact Dance

4X4 DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP LAUNCH EVENT BY IMPACT DANCE £5| Purchase tickets via Eventbrite Saturday 23 February 5:00-8:00pm What does it mean to be 4x4?

This is the unique part – the dance space is based within a 4x4 perimeter, where dancers will perform their routines to qualify. Are you a dancer or a group between 11-19 who specialise in Hip-Hop, Street Dance, Bollywood, Bhangra or a fusion of any of the above styles? Join us at this February launch event to find how to be part of one of the most exciting dance events running in 2019 and see if your team has what it takes to be crowned BRENT 4 x 4 firsttime champions in June 2019. Contact: rebecca@impactdance.co.uk Come and join Impact Dance as they bring their academy classes to The Yellow. Sessions contain dance training and hip-hop choreography for young people aged 7+.

Impact has a successful academy in Central London where young people train every week and develop their hip-hop technique and learn choreography from our team of teachers.

Impact Dance is a Hip-Hop Theatre Company, Street Dance Organisation and Educational Facilitator based in London, which has been established since 1995. Founded by Artistic Director Hakeem Onibudo Impact has been a major gatekeeper for the Hip-Hop/Street Dance sector since its inception. They have performed in venues nationally and internationally since 1995, as well as, supporting individuals to realise their potential through the medium of dance.

Impact will replicate this model at the new NW Academy in Brent, based at The Yellow. Impact Dance sessions include training stamina, core stability and floor work, as well as, choreography.

This is a safe environment to develop your dance training.

Beginners Yoga classes are designed especially for those who always wanted to try yoga but was not sure where to start. This is the place where you can try yoga without being pressured or judged. We will start slow and progress naturally as students gradually gain strength and flexibility.

During the class you will be guided into the Preparation body movements and Yoga poses which are suitable for you and supported by the teachers guidance on the way. Mild and gentle adjustment might be made to your poses to make sure you are practising safely and correctly.
