It is commonest among those of African descent. Why not come down and join the sickle cell awareness fitness extravaganza at The Yellow for an afternoon full off Zumba, boxercise, yoga classes and much more! More importantly, talks on awareness of sickle cells, and free giveaways!

What you can expect?

Meet Alex and Akal. They run the World Music music classes in different schools across London and now they’ve brought their innovative programme to The Yellow at Wembley Park.

- KNOWLEDGE. Learn about music fundamentals and about different cultures, stories, tribes and people who created and play these instruments.

Music is our universal language, through music all beings are able to communicate from different countries and cultures, and can be a powerful tool for promoting peace and unity!

We aim to give access to different musical cultures around the world through interaction with different instruments and their sounds, giving children the opportunity to have different experiences and extend their knowledge and understanding of the music and the world.

- MUSIC: To be excited to listen to and try different music instruments, from traditional to modern one.

- FUN: And lots of it!
