Parent and Toddler Pilates and Nutrition WEDNESDAY 9:30-11AM | Age 0-5 AND PARENTS JOIN US ON SATURDAY 26 JANUARY FOR OUR CRYSTAL MINDS WELLNESS LAUNCH FROM 12-4PM, FREE LUNCH. OPEN TO ALL AND THE LITTLE ONES TOO Contact: christineandmelissa@gmail.com Come and enjoy gentle exercise with your little ones whilst learning the art of Pilates. Meet Christine and Melissa who run Pilates and Nutritional advice classes at the Yellow for parents and toddlers. The leaders are both mothers working for the community to promote health and well-being, and are on a mission to empower the community on how to take better care of themselves. Christine is a fitness coach and mindfulness practitioner working with local community groups, leisure centres and schools. Melissa is a qualified Nutritionist, registered with The Association for Nutrition. Whilst working with the NHS Diabetes prevention programme, her role includes facilitating consultations and presentations. In addition, Melissa specialises in pregnancy massage and delivers talks to schools and libraries about the benefits of correct nutrition for you and the whole family.
Be Smart, Get Fit
What you can expect: Christine and Melissa’s sessions encompass gentle exercise and relaxation techniques for parents. The exercises are designed to help with any balance or joint issues as well as relieving stress. Exercises range from Aerobics, Pilates, Chair- based exercise, Core stability, Fit kids and Meditation. Sessions will help you bond with your toddlers, whilst developing their cognitive abilities and overall physical development. This is a social, fun environment where children can just play with toys if they wish. The nutritional element focuses on food choices and promoting health and well-being for children’s growth.
