Community united in caring for each other A NEW group of community organisations has been formed in Wells to co-ordinate, help and support the local response to the coronavirus pandemic. With volunteers springing up across the city offering help to those in need, the new group aims to provide a central hub offering information and advice for residents. Called Wells Coronavirus Network, it has set up a phone helpline – 01749 467079 – open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday but hopefully for longer soon. People can also pass on news or seek advice by email at cv19@ connect-centre.org.uk. For those who want to write a note or letter the postal address is Wells Coronavirus Network, Connect Centre, Portway, Wells BA5 2BE, where it will be collected daily. People who would like to volunteer can go to this weblink: https://forms.gle/ UwUwgoxtfZKUkhnB8.
