The Summer ReadingAdventure is open to tamariki (aged 5-13), taiohi (aged 13-18) and pākeke (aged 16+) in the Wellington region.You do not need to be a library member to take part.
The adventure ends at 11.59pm on 31 January 2026. Books read and challenges completed after this date will not count towards earning prizes.
Grand prize winners will be drawn and notified over the first two weeks of February 2026.All decisions are final.

Write, draw, or record BOOK REVIEWS Do activities to complete QUESTS.
Earn digital badges and tickets to put towards our grand prize draws for reaching these milestones. Achievements marked with a star also earn a small prize!
Readinglog Bookreviews Quests
All book reviews will be moderated by a librarian before they are published and included in your total number of reviews.
Read and log 100 books, create 40 reviews, and finish all the quests to complete the whole Summer Reading Adventure and earn a special reward!
