Our standard services and amenities are available to all residents under their basic monthly services fee, and optional additional amenities or enhancements are available. What LifeCare Means to You

LIFECARE

At Well•Spring, you can choose to apply your entrance fee to one of two different investments in your long-term care: Full LifeCare or Modified LifeCare. Under both LifeCare plans, you can enjoy the assurance of knowing that you’re able to remain at Well•Spring regardless of a change in your care needs.

Both Full LifeCare and Modified LifeCare offer spouses and co-residents the comfort of knowing that they can remain close by if one of them requires additional care. This also gives adult children the assurance that their parents’ healthcare needs will be covered for the future.

FULL LIFECARE

If in the future your health needs require you to move to any part of our Health Center, you may do so at no added cost other than the cost of additional meals provided and care-related supplies. If a move to The John W. Red, Jr. Center for Assisted Living, Willow Way Memory Support or Sycamore Square Skilled Care becomes necessary, residents who have chosen the Full LifeCare option will not see an increase to their monthly service fee.

MODIFIED LIFECARE

The Modified LifeCare option offers lower entrance fees and monthly service fees and is specially designed for residents who have already purchased long-term care insurance or prefer to protect their future with other assets. If a move to The John W. Red, Jr. Center for Assisted Living, Willow Way Memory Support or Sycamore Square Skilled Care becomes necessary, residents who have chosen the Modified LifeCare option pay a discounted fee for the necessary level of care.

Refund Options

Whether entering the Well•Spring community under the Full LifeCare or Modified LifeCare contracts, residents are offered two refund options:

• One-Year Declining Refund – During the first 60 days of residency, 90 percent of the entrance fee is refundable. During each subsequent month until the end of the one-year refund period, the refundable portion of the entrance fee will be reduced further by 4 percent.

• 92-Month Declining Refund – During the first 60 days of residency, 90 percent of the entrance fee is refundable. During each subsequent month until the end of the 92-month refund period, the refundable portion of the entrance fee will be reduced further by 1 percent.

For residents entering the community under the Full LifeCare contract, Well•Spring offers an additional refund option:

• 90-Percent Refund – 90 percent of the entrance fee is refunded regardless of length of residency. Entrance fees increase as the length of the refund period increases. The 90-Percent Refund option has the highest entrance fee, but allows the resident to best preserve and protect their estate.

Whatever your retirement dream, Well•Spring offers a variety of living options to fit your new lifestyle. We have six apartment floor plans that vary from one to two bedrooms and bathrooms, allowing you to choose the space that best fits your personal needs.

At Well•Spring, we want the space to feel like your own, and our apartments are easy to personalize to your taste. Our mid-rise community allows you to get to know your neighbors and make new friends.

Our Newest Apartments

Well•Spring’s Wildflower Square are our newest corner of paradise. With only four units per floor, these “hybrid” apartments blend a traditional corner apartment with a garden home or villa, featuring open-concept floor plans and covered balconies.

Wildflower Square’s two-bedroom apartments are available with or without an additional den. These new residences will be very conveniently located across from our new Resident Activity Center, with easy access to dining venues, the lounge, The Virginia Somerville Sutton Theatre and Aquatic & Fitness Center so you can get the most out of your retirement.

Well•Spring Garden Homes are available in oneand two-bedroom floor plans with patios offering a relaxing outdoor getaway. You’ll enjoy every season in a Well•Spring Garden Home.

Drawbridge Villas, Magnolia Villas and Greenway Villas offer the independence you’ve always known with the community life you’ve always wanted. Our on-campus Health Center offers a wide range of care options so you can rest assured that your changing needs will be met through The John W. Red, Jr. Center for Assisted Living, Willow Way Memory Support or Sycamore Square Skilled Care.

Residents of The John W. Red, Jr. Assisted Living Center enjoy spacious private suites including a kitchenette, a breakfast nook and an expanded living area. Sycamore Square Skilled Care and Willow Way Memory Support provide a private room for each resident. For residents needing temporary, recuperative care, Well•Spring also offers skilled nursing care through our Rehab Center.
