I have to say, I’m
a huge fan of cruising. And cruising as a group...well that’s just the icing on the cupcake! There’s something really fabulous about cruising. Sure, part of it may be that you don’t have to cook, clean, do laundry, take the trash out, or go to the grocery store! But there is so much to do on the ship it’s not even funny. So much, in fact, that even though I’ve been on the Liberty of the Seas four times now, I still have yet to watch the ice-skating show! We all have our own ‘thing’ on a cruise, and for me, it’s part getting caught up--on both work and rest-and part socializing--primarily with those in and around the blackjack table or out by the pool. There is truly something for everyone, with card rooms, libraries, workout facilities (They even have a pickleball court!), day spa, cooking classes, night clubs, and the list goes on and on. Never in my wildest dreams did I think ‘Cruise with Kristi’ would get to where we are today, and I have to say it has become one of my favorite things about the season! It's not just cruising; it's making new friends along the way who will forever be in my heart! • We’re just connecting the dots,

We’re just connecting the dots.
he first day of February, Winter and Converted Texans loaded up five tour buses and headed for the Port of Galveston. The goal: to explore the Western Carribean aboard the Liberty of the Seas. The 4th Annual Cruise with Kristi set sail February 2 for Roatan, Honduras and Puerto Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. The adventure was hosted by Travel by Welcome Home, a division of Welcome Home RGV. Cruisers whiled away the days lounging poolside, line dancing, touring the ports of call, and partaking in fancy cocktails and endless buffets. The Travel-by-WelcomeHome adventure included round-trip transportation from the Rio Grande Valley and one night in the pre-cruise hotel, with breakfast. CRUISE WITH KRISTI 2020 CONTINUED ON PAGE 4 >>
