hello FROM KRISTI
I
find it only fitting that this column is dedicated to our singles population as this week’s cover story is, as well. I’m proud of all our singles who come to South Texas each year. Whether you are single by choice or after the loss of your loved one, you know you can come and enjoy our warm weather and all the activities that occur throughout the winter, and that makes us so happy! Even though many of our parks have their own singles activities, we decided to host ‘single mingles’ of our own to allow singles from throughout the Valley to mix and mingle. We’re not matchmaking; we’re just providing another avenue for singles to connect and do fun things as a group. Our mingles are on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 9 a.m. at Rudy’s BBQ in Pharr, and we invite all of our single friends to join us! It’s very casual--buy your own breakfast and join in the conversation. We are also working on fun outings as a group. In fact, coming up is an afternoon at Riverside Club in Mission. Join us, Singles! Let's Mingle! • We’re just connecting the dots,
Kristi
