Seeing Red for the Right Reason on the La Floresta Golf Course

by Arleen Bier, La Floresta RV Park

It was donuts and golf on Valentine’s Day and lots of red on the golf course. The wind whips across the golf course as residents of La Floresta tee off! Today we are playing a Mixed Scramble: Best Ball. With such strong winds, the ball either flies over the green or stops short, depending on the direction of the wind and the hole the golfer is on. No hole-in-one happened on this day, but our golfers got a few birdies.

Don Tufnell and Marilyn Walters won the Scramble. •
