RULES & REGULATIONS
1. All athletes must be 50 years of age or over to participate. Age is calculated as of the beginning date of the event. Events are open to all persons; there is no residency requirement. Some events may have additional fees as specified on the event description. 2. To be eligible to compete, participants must complete a registration form. Registration is invalid if form is NOT SIGNED. For events requiring a partner, both partners must complete registration forms. Participants are strongly encouraged to REGISTER EARLY to ensure your participation in the event of your choice.

GOLDEN AGE OLYMPICS HALL OF FAME The City of McAllen Parks and Recreation Golden Age Olympics Hall of Fame honors and recognizes participants that promote the benefits of active, productive and purposeful living. Up to one male and female will be inducted each year. Nominees must be age 50 or older and a participant of the Golden Age Olympics at least 10 years. Posthumous nominations are accepted. Nomination forms are available at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office. Deadline for nominations is Friday, February 15. Recognition for inductees will take place at the awards ceremony on March 6. Inductee and/or contact person will be notified prior to the awards ceremony.
